Cherry Pudding Home Made Easy
Makes 2 glasses
Cherry sauce :
1 1/2 cups of cherry (from glass) available in grocery store
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
2 teaspoons corn starch/plain flour
3 tablespoons water
In a small saucepan, stir cherry and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and cook for about 5 minutes.
In a small bowl, stir flour and water until smooth. Pour into cherry and lower the heat to low. Stir constantly until combined and thickens. Remove from the heat.
Set aside, cool down.
Cherry Pudding :
4 tablespoons granilated sugar
500 ml cherry juice (1 cup cherry + 1 cup water, blend until smooth)
Whipped cream for garnish
1 sachet strawberry pudding mix (available in grocery store)
In a saucepan, pour cherry juice, sugar and pudding mix. Stir over medium heat until bubbling and thickens.
Pour into glasses, let cool in room temperature then chill in the fridge until firm and set.
To serve : add cherry sauce on top of the pudding, garnish with a dollop of whipped cream.
