Chicken Cheese Dinner Rolls

250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
1 tsp instant dry yeast +1 tbsp sugar
125ml (1/2 cup) warm milk
1 large egg, whisked. (take 1 tbsp for glazing)
3 tbsp unsalted butter/margarine
1 tsp salt
The filling: 2 tbsp oil, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1 stalk green onion, 1 cup shredded cooked chicken, 1 tsp plain flour, 1 cup milk, seasoning (salt, pepper, chili flakes, parsley, turmeric, to taste).
1 cup or more of shredded cheese.
