1 loaf of sandwich bread; egg wash; ½ cup Dijon mustard; cheese; ham; 1 cup béchamel sauce; 1/3 cup shredded cheese for the topping; 4 eggs; 400 ml (13.5 fl. oz) milk; salt and pepper.
Preheat oven to 180C. Cut of the bread crust and connect slices with each other using egg wash (around 3-4 slices per one portion). Spread thin layer of Dijon mustard on top and cover with a layer of cheese and ham. Roll each strip together, forming giant roll as shown on the video. Place the roll into a parchment covered cake pan. Beat eggs and milk together, season with salt and pepper. Pour egg mixture over the roll. Spread béchamel sauce over the top and sprinkle 1/3 cup shredded cheese. Bake for 45 minutes and let cool down slightly before slicing and serving.
